Russian Multiple Entry Visa

A multiple entry (multi) visa to Russia allows unlimited entries during its validity period. This is the most convenient option for those who regularly visit Russia.

Multi-entry visas are issued for 6 months, 1 year, or 3 years. A 5-year multi-visa is available for citizens of a limited number of countries.

Important limitation: the 90/180 rule. Even with a multi-visa, your stay in Russia cannot exceed 90 days in any 180-day period. Violation results in an entry ban.

To obtain a multi-visa, you need a business invitation on official letterhead. Tourist multi-visas are not provided under Russian law.

First-time applicants typically receive a 6-month or 1-year multi-visa. With a positive visa history, 3-year visas become available on subsequent applications.
